Menopause & midlife · 12-week programme

The Second Spring

Menopause changes hormones. It can also change sleep, heat, mood, body trust, desire, confidence, identity, relationships and how much nonsense you are still prepared to tolerate.

Personal Edition — £97

Some seasons end because life is preparing to grow differently.

A life transition deserves more than being treated as a collection of symptoms

Menopause can alter far more than temperature.

It can affect sleep, energy, confidence, concentration, mood, relationships, sexuality, identity and the strange feeling that a version of yourself you have known for decades is quietly packing its bags.

For some women the change is liberating. For others it is difficult. For many it is both, occasionally before breakfast.

Second Spring approaches this stage of life as a genuine transition rather than simply a medical inconvenience to be endured.

Bodies change. Roles change. Relationships change. Expectations change.

And somewhere inside all of that, there can also be an opportunity to decide what the next part of life is going to be for.

The woman emerging from this transition does not have to be a diminished version of the woman who entered it.

A whole-system transition

Menopause rarely has the decency to change one thing at a time.

The hormones may be the biology underneath it. The lived experience can spread through almost everything.

Sleep changes. Temperature regulation becomes less predictable. Mood can become sharper or stranger. The body may alter shape. Desire can shift. Memory and concentration can wobble. Grief turns up in places you did not know it was waiting. Anger sometimes becomes considerably less willing to be polite.

At the same time, the roles a woman has carried for years may begin to feel less convincing. The version of herself who coped, accommodated, stayed quiet, held everybody together or made herself smaller may suddenly become much harder to inhabit.

The Second Spring treats menopause as both a biological transition and a wider reorganisation of body, nervous system and identity. It gives you a clear map of what is changing, then uses guided work to help the deeper system respond with more safety, trust and authority.

The aim is not to drag the younger version of you back into the building. She has done her shift.

Why this is more than another menopause information course

Understanding the biology matters. Living through the transition is a different job.

The Second Spring combines structured teaching with guided sessions because menopause can alter the body, nervous system, sleep, emotion, identity, intimacy and the roles a woman has carried for years.

01

Understand what is changing

The programme gives a structured map across hormones, heat, sleep, cognition, metabolism, bones, joints, skin, hair, sexuality and the wider transition.

02

Work with the lived response

Each week is paired with guided work so the programme does not stop at giving you more information about experiences you are already having.

03

Use support when a theme is active

The additional support audios give you material to return to when a particular state needs attention outside the weekly sequence.

04

Recover body trust

The aim is not to promise symptom removal. It is to help you understand the transition without treating every change as evidence that the body has become the enemy.

05

Make room for identity change

Menopause can coincide with a reassessment of roles, boundaries, desire, anger, accommodation and what the next part of life is for.

06

Keep medical care in the picture

This is educational and personal-development work. Symptoms that need medical assessment still need medical assessment.

That combination is the point: 12 weeks of teaching, 12 guided sessions and 4 support audios create a route through both the information and the experience rather than asking one to stand in for the other.

Have a look inside

Experience The Second Spring before you decide.

Menopause is difficult to reduce to a neat list of symptoms because the biological, emotional and identity changes often arrive together. The preview lets you hear the actual teaching and see how the programme approaches the whole transition before deciding whether you want to continue.

The menu shows the full course structure. Preview lessons are available to watch; the rest remain visible and locked so you can see the shape and depth of the programme. On mobile, use the Preview Lessons tab.

The 12-week journey

From symptom fear towards body authority.

The programme starts with what the body is doing, then gradually moves into the emotional and identity transition underneath it.

Week 01

The Threshold

What menopause actually is, why symptoms can spread across so many systems and why change does not mean the body is falling apart.

Week 02

The Oestrogen Architecture

Brain, temperature, tissues, receptors and the many parts of the body influenced by changing oestrogen patterns.

Week 03

Progesterone, Safety & the Lost Rhythm

Sleep, anxiety, the inner brake and the nervous system that finds it harder to come down.

Week 04

Heat, Flushes & the Alarm System

Temperature regulation, night sweats, adrenaline, visibility and the emotional experience surrounding sudden heat.

Week 05

The Regenerative Night

Sleep as repair, the 3 a.m. problem and rebuilding the night as somewhere the body can actually settle.

Week 06

Rage, Grief & the Emotional Archive

What happens when the body becomes less willing to buffer years of unexpressed emotion, accommodation and unfinished grief.

Week 07

Brain Fog, Memory & Cognitive Authority

The brain under pressure, fear about memory and rebuilding trust in your ability to think, decide and speak with authority.

Week 08

Metabolism & Body Trust

Belly weight, insulin, appetite, muscle, body shame and what happens when the body no longer looks or responds as it once did.

Week 09

Bones, Joints, Skin, Hair & the Visible Body

Strength, collagen, posture, visible ageing and learning to inhabit the body that exists now rather than constantly comparing it with an earlier one.

Week 10

Sexuality, Desire, Dryness & Intimacy

The intimate body, safety, history, pleasure and the possibility of a sexual identity that changes rather than simply disappears.

Week 11

The End of the Old Female Role

The good-woman contract, boundaries, anger, grief for an earlier self and the question of who remains when old obligations loosen.

Week 12

The Second Power

Integration, continuation and the authority that can become available when the old role no longer has to run the whole show.

The guided work

Information can reduce fear. Sometimes the body needs more than information.

Each weekly lesson is accompanied by a deeper guided process.

The sessions are there because menopause is not experienced only as a list of facts. A woman may understand perfectly well why temperature regulation has changed and still feel embarrassed, exposed or alarmed when a flush arrives. She may know that sleep disruption is common and still have a nervous system that begins dreading the night before she has even gone to bed.

The guided work focuses on safety, body trust, emotional release, identity and adaptation so that the deeper system has something different to rehearse alongside the conscious understanding.

Four shorter support audios

For the moments when you do not need another lesson.

Heat Reset

For hot flushes, night sweats, adrenaline surges and sudden heat.

Sleep Descent

For waking in the night, restlessness and helping the body move back towards steadiness.

Body Trust Practice

For body shame, mirror grief, weight anxiety and the feeling that your body has become unfamiliar.

Come Back to Yourself

For overwhelm, crying, rage, anxiety or those moments when you simply do not feel like yourself.

A note from me

I know the obvious problem with me creating a menopause programme.

I am a man. I will never experience menopause from inside my own body.

That is precisely why I was cautious about creating this work. I had no interest in becoming another bloke explaining women's bodies back to them. But I have worked with women around menopause symptoms and the deeper psychological changes surrounding them for years, and eventually enough women asked for something more structured that staying silent stopped feeling automatically more respectful.

So the programme is offered with that boundary intact. I can teach the biology I have studied, the nervous-system and subconscious work I know, and the patterns I have seen in practice. I do not claim lived experience I do not have, and the programme does not pretend to replace the expertise of women themselves or appropriate medical care.

The Second Spring

The old role ending is not the same thing as your power ending.

Twelve weeks to understand the body more clearly, lower some of the fear around the transition and begin meeting the woman who is emerging now.
