Nine Realms Institute — Realm 3

The Identity
Realm

Archetypes, self-concepts and the 13th archetype — the God Seed.

The Identity Realm is where we stop pretending people are "just" thoughts or behaviour — and look directly at who is living the life, running the pattern, holding the story.

The Identity Realm

What the Identity Realm Actually Is

Identity is not "I am this"
written on a sticky note.

It is a stack of archetypes, roles, stories and positions that feels like "me" from the inside. The Identity Realm maps those archetypes and roles with enough precision that you can finally see why some patterns won't shift — because, at some level, they are who someone believes they are.

Instead of trying to reframe identity with affirmations, we work with it as a living architecture that can evolve.

Archetypal Structure

The universal archetypal patterns that organise the psyche. How they activate, how they compete, how they form the "core identity" that everything else orbits.

The Identity Stack

The layers beneath the surface self — roles, positions, stories, wounds. How they lock in together and why you cannot change one without understanding its relationship to the others.

Shadow Architecture

The suppressed, disowned or distorted parts of identity. The patterns you cannot see in yourself but that show up in what you judge, fear, and attract.

Identity Shifts

How identities actually change — not through force or affirmation, but through reorganisation. The difference between genuine identity evolution and surface performance.

Identity and Reality

How identity shapes what someone can perceive, allow and create. Why changing behaviour without touching identity produces results that evaporate.

Constructing the Core Identity

How to move from mapping and observation into deliberate, integrated identity design. Building from what is real — not what sounds good in a journal.

The 13th Archetype

The God Seed

The twelve classical archetypes give you a useful map of psychological patterns. But there is a thirteenth — one that does not fit neatly into any of the twelve boxes.

Martin calls it the God Seed. It is the pattern of you that sits beyond any single role, wound, or story. The version of you that exists before the conditioning layered over it. Not a fantasy self — something more specific and more real than that.

The God Seed is introduced in the Identity Realm. It becomes central in the Transformational Realm and the Potentiality Realm. It is one of the few genuinely original contributions this architecture makes to the field of identity work.

If This Rings a Bell

Identity problems look like
everything else.

  • Clients say "I know I should do X" but never act like that kind of person
  • You see people sabotage themselves just when things start going well
  • You feel different in different contexts — like you're wearing entirely different selves
  • You've done lots of work on beliefs and emotions, but some patterns feel baked into who you are
  • You can feel something bigger in you trying to emerge, but your existing identity won't let it through

These are not motivation problems. They are not belief problems. They are identity architecture problems. The Realm was built to make them visible and workable.

Lessons Include

Inside the Identity Realm.

Identity work cannot be rushed without creating fragmentation. This Realm requires careful observation, reflection, and gradual reorganisation. The work often destabilises familiar self-concepts before new coherence emerges. That is intentional.

How This Fits Into the Nine Realms

Realm 3 — which self is
actually running the show.

Without this Realm, you end up trying to solve identity problems with mindset hacks, doing trauma work that never lands because the identity won't allow a new story, and pushing against self-sabotage without seeing which part is protecting what.

Realm 1 Practitioner — who you are when you sit with another human
Realm 2 Consciousness — how reality is built inside that human
Realm 3 Identity — which self is actually running that reality
Realm 4 Emotional — how signal and charge move
Realms 5–8 Healing, Liberation, Heroic, Transformational
Realm 9 Potentiality and magic

The Identity Realm also directly sets up later work:

Healing Realm (5)

Identities carry wounds. You cannot do deep healing work without knowing which identity is holding the pain and why it won't let go.

Liberation Realm (6)

Identities are built by culture, family and conditioning. Liberation work dismantles the parts that were never yours to begin with.

Transformational Realm (8)

Reality Hacker is built around structured identity redesign. The Identity Realm gives you the map; the Transformational Realm applies the work.

Potentiality Realm (9)

The God Seed becomes a magical engine in Realm 9. Identity is the lens through which potentiality is either accessed or blocked.

Who This Realm Is For

For people who can feel
a version of themselves trying to emerge.

  • Practitioners who keep seeing clients snap back to the same self after change work
  • Coaches or therapists who know identity is the missing piece but have only had fragments of it
  • People who have reinvented themselves a few times and can feel a deeper shift trying to happen
  • Anyone fascinated by archetypes but wanting something beyond the usual 12-type diagrams
  • The in-between people — "there is a version of me I can almost feel, but I don't know how to become them without breaking everything"

Questions Before You Begin

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is The Identity Realm for?

The Identity Realm is for people who recognise that life does not change only because they know what to do. If you keep meeting familiar patterns, limitations or roles, this Realm helps you explore the deeper structure of self-concept, archetypes and the identities through which your life is being lived.

Do I need to complete the earlier Realms before entering Identity?

No. If identity is the clearest doorway for you now, you may begin here directly. If you want to place identity within the wider opening architecture of Practitioner, Consciousness and Emotional as well, Foundations may be the better path.

What does it mean to work with archetypes and the God Seed?

This Realm works with identity as something living rather than merely a list of traits. Archetypes illuminate recurring structures of self and experience, while the God Seed points toward the deeper potential that is not confined to the roles and definitions you have previously lived inside.

I feel uncomfortable spending this much on myself. Is it really justified?

It is sensible to consider any meaningful investment carefully. But the identity through which you live does not affect you alone. It shapes what you allow, how you relate, what you model to others, which opportunities you can recognise, and which patterns continue through your family, work or relationships. This is not about buying a temporary boost in confidence. It is an opportunity to examine the structure beneath the life you are creating. Only enrol if it is financially responsible for you — but do not dismiss your own development as though it had no value to the people around you.

Is a payment plan available?

Yes. You may enrol in The Identity Realm for £600 as a single payment, or choose ten monthly payments of £65.

Should I choose The Identity Realm, Foundations or Boundless?

Choose The Identity Realm if identity, archetypes and self-concept are the central work you need now. Choose Foundations if you want all first four Realms as one beginning. Choose Boundless if you already know you want the complete Nine Realms architecture.
